Free Northern Ireland
Irish Organization supporting a Free Ireland
![]()
OBJECTIVES - Yes the military Troops have eased off Northern Ireland in 2008. Yet many men and women who supported a United and Free Ireland still remain political prisoners in jails in Northern Ireland simply for supporting those who took an active stand in NI. Do not be mislead in believing that all these in Irish prisons did some violent crime.
Until they are set free or pardoned the British Government has failed to implement a real peace in NI. This site supports Catholics in Northern Ireland and those oppressed in their struggle for freedom and equal representation and a voice in government.
Religious Discrimination such as Catholic Bashing becomes more common place in the USA, supported by both political parties in government but more openly and seen recently by the Democratic US Senate as it discriminated against and opposed several candidates for the position of Judges based on the sole basis of being Catholics.
In many ways the anti-catholic British Government is more open about their injustices in NI against the Catholic population than the US government which professes liberty and justice for all, while at the same time protecting Catholic Bashers who oppose it.
The USA government and News Media by turning a blind eye supports Catholic Bashing in all forms of news coverage and media via syndicated news papers, internet, movie industry, and Television or Cable stations. Double Standards abound. The private school system and home schooling is also subject to the negative attacks of the US government. Wake up America! You can't help the Irish if you can't help yourself.
The Democratic Party in the USA appears to now be controlled by the Radical Left which openly endorses issues that are in direct conflict and opposition to that of Catholic beliefs which are shared by many other Christian denominations - such as abortion. Abortion has become the platform of one of the major political parties. The Separation of Church and State no longer exists.
One must ask if the Irish in America can be of much help to the Irish in Northern Ireland in their struggle for Liberty and Justice while in their own country and freedoms are hanging by a thin thread.
Statistics: Broward County Florida has a population close to the same of that of Northern Ireland, yet on a per capita basis one is ten (10) times more likely to be a victim of a violent crime in USA Florida, such as being killed or raped than someone in Northern Ireland. Of course the USA doesn't have 13,000 military troops in Broward County Fl in addition to the local police force as do the British.
There were more than some 16,000 murders last year in the USA (Total number well hidden from the public) in 2007 over 2,000 murders in Florida alone. Do the math 50 States? Two-thirds of violent crime is done by repeat offenders. The criminal system (judges & lawyers) sets killers free to kill again. More people killed in the USA than in the war.
Some
estimated 50,000 young girls smuggled into the USA and made into sex slaves, drugs are
readily available on the streets of all major cities. Illegal criminal aliens abound in
the US according to an article in "The Washington Times" dated 1/27/04 About 80,000 illegal criminal aliens, including
convicted murderers, rapists, drug dealers and child molesters who served prison time and
were released, are loose on the streets of America, hiding from federal immigration
authorities. If a country controlled by two political parties (Democrat and
Republican) can't protect of it's own citizens, how can they claim to help any other
country??
Political Responsibility : Citizens should welcome dialogue with political leaders and candidates supporting those who reflect our values. We would encourage Irish American voters to examine the position of candidates especially judges on a full range of issues, as well as on their personal integrity, philosophy and performance. The defense of human life and dignity in Northern Ireland and all over the world must become our way of life and prompt us to action.
We need to share our values, raise our voices and use our votes to shape a society that protects human life, promotes family life, pursues social justice and practices solidarity living under governments which defend the freedom to practice ones faith and stand up for what they believe.
These efforts can strengthen the cause in Northern Ireland and our own nation. There comes a time in the life of every man and nation to choose for the good or evil side and this is when good take a stand and the cowards step aside.
This is not the time to be discouraged but a time to unite in support of the cause of Freedom and Justice not only in Northern Ireland but in the USA. The Free State of Ireland and the United States, must pressure the British Government to hold and uphold the elections and permit Catholics to hold office.
Fundamentally the denial of the God given rights of the people of the Northern of Ireland whose majority voted for a Peace Plan is no different than when any dictator or totalitarian regime denies them.
Send a message to Irish Ambassador, Pres. Bush's appointed representative questioning how the USA can be in partnership with the British Government while it continues disregard the elected representatives of NI while supporting Paisley's racist, anti-catholic and highly bigoted DUP party.
Let the Attorney General web@usdoj.gov know that you oppose deportation of Irish who have families and jobs here while 40-80,000 illegal criminals walk our streets and more are pouring into the USA via Mexico and Canada every day. The current government of the USA turns a blind eye to them. The USA Government must stop the discrimination against the Irish. It was the Irish the fought in the civil war on both sides and died by the thousands - a large percentage of the Irish fought in WW2. The Irish were largest nationality that worked in the mines, factories and build the railroads system in the America. No nationality gave more blood and sweat in total lives given for freedom in the USA than the Irish.
We ask the good people of England, Ireland and the USA to take stand and be aware. All that is necessary for the forces of evil to prevail in the world, is for enough good people to do nothing. In 2008 the forces of evil are on the march.
